SERENITY THERAPY IN NATURE

We are a registered charity set up in 2018 by an experienced GP who has lived and worked in the area for  over 30 years

Dr Sanghera launched her charity in 2017 as Serenity Social & Therapeutic Horticulture, supporting adults with physical disability and mental health issues.  During the Pandemic she supported frontline NHS colleagues and introduced ' lifestyle medicine.'

This Summer 2025 we're introducing Nature Connectedness, what it means and how it supports wellness, for any adult as long as you are mobile .

Having recently trained through the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine as a LM Practitioner, Dr Sanghera will share the evidence behind Nature's healing impact, connecting you through her expansive garden created for wildlife, before settling into  a mindful space.

Using Nature to Nurture Us

We are based in Killerby village County Durham

The Summer 2025 course will run over three Wednesday mornings 4th, 12th, 16th June, 9.30-12noon and is free of charge.

We are a small charity and run purely on a desire to share knowledge and hope. Should you benefit from our service, any donation will be most appreciated and allow others the opportunity to attend in future.
